"Once you have a vision, the fundraising follows."~Amy Gutmann, President, University of Pennsylvania
Thanks to creative, hardworking and compassionate community organizers, events happen! The Interfaith Food Bank receives thousands of dollars and countless pounds of food each year to help combat hunger in Amador County by way of fundraisers, special events and food drives.
From community races, like the Annual Turkey Trot at Lake Tabeau Thanksgiving Day and the Jackson Mid-town 5k sponsored by F.A.C.T. (Feed Amador County Today) to Thomi’s Café Annual Turkey Drive, The Festival of Carols, Breath of Broadway, Charity Golf and Empty Bowls. The Interfaith Food Bank depends on events such as these to help fill our shelves and enhance our power to purchase food for those in need.
